MUNCY AYSO

A very important time period leading up to the Spring 2016 AYSO season is fast approaching.  Classes are paid for by Muncy AYSO.

 

VOLUNTEER TRAINING Dates and times are as follows:

AREA Y TRAINING:

Coaches:

March 5th—U-12 Training 1-6pm at GreenView Alliance Church

March 6th—U-8 1pm-3pm Location TBA

March 6th—U-10 3-6pm Location TBA

March 12th –U-8 Training 10am-12pm Location TBA

March 12th U-10 Training 1pm to 4pm  Location TBA

March 13th –U-12 Training 1-6pm Location TBA

March 18, 19th and 20th—Intermediate Coach,

          Friday 6-9pm Location TBA

          Saturday 9-4pm Indian Park (We need 4 coaches & 24 U-16 players, 6 per coach)

          Sunday 1-6pm GreenView Alliance Church

April 1st, 2nd, 3rd—Advanced Coach Course

                   Friday 6-9pm GreenView Alliance Church

                   Saturday 9-4pm Indian Park (We need 24 players, 6 per coach)

REFEREE TRAINING:

Basic Referee (Must be at least 12 years old)

• books, regional referee patch, and food will be provided

• Our region will purchase you a complete uniform & whistle upon completion of the training provided you register to referee at least 3 games for the upcoming season. The training session costs $25 and Muncy AYSO pays this for you too.

• Login to www.eayso.org and register as a volunteer (takes a few minutes) and use the e-signature option at the end of your application.

• Note your AYSO volunteer ID # and go to www.aysotraining.org. Enter your number and name. Use the “Courses” tab, select “AYSO's Safe Haven” (takes about 60 minutes), and you only ever have to do this once in your AYSO career.

• At the same ayso training site, use the “Courses” tab and select “AYSO CDC Concussion Awareness” (takes about 45 minutes).

• Let us know you've completed this and you are ready for the basic referee class.

• You must let us know at least one week prior to course if you are attending so we can add your name to the attendee list and so materials are ready for you.

 

COACH TRAINING:

• Coaches & Assistant Coaches: You must be trained for the division you will be coaching.

• Login to www.eayso.org and register as a volunteer (takes a few minutes) and use the e-signature option at the end of your application.
